Hey!
Im sure I was in your class! Who can forget Mounzer! Looks like you had a really bad experience here! Everything is true bout da rent, how expensive it is, etc (which is why my husband wants to move back!) but Im loving it here, dont want to move to Egypt AT ALL!!! What agency were you at? Currently Im at intermarkets - was at FP7 in Egypt - and yeah Dubai is just one big LIE! If your good at like bullshitting or ass kissing you'l do great! really dont know how ppl get where they are in this country
Where are you at now? Updates pleeeez!

i worked for Leo Burnett, and before that with AC Nielsen as a market researcher on the Pepsi account in the UAE as well.. ur right bout the bullshit and ass kissing.. u have to leave ur morals at the airport if ur gonna do anything here.. its just pathetic

my dad still works here, so right now im in good ol' Dhahran fielding job offers.. ive got some good ones from mutlinational companies in Khobar so that'll allow me to stay at home, so i might just do that!! who knew i'd return to Aramco after 11 yrs of globe trotting? plus i get to use the gym and pool and the rest of the facilties for free

why dont u and hubby consider saudi? this country is absolutely BLOATED with money right now from all the oil and there are plenty of job opps.. also, we need experienced people like urself here.. u dont see saudis working in the advertising field.. and the rent is ridiculously cheap.. i knew people who came in from Leo Burnett Jeddah and Riyadh who came to Dubai for the glitz and glamor of it all, then got hit with the brutal reality of how expensive it is, especially those with families.. and soon they began to curse the day they ever decided to move.. many of them even transferred or back or just quit.. this country is really booming and all the major ad firms have offices here as u know

as for Mounzer's class, it was a small one in jr high, cuz mostly people went for spanish and french.. as far as i can remember it was me, ahmed abdulwahad, yazan, nader, samr amr (i think), rania itani, and fatima.. that was a fun class, even tho mounzer beat us boys up and challenged us to arm-wrestling matches.. i also had mrs amoudi in elementary school and our classes were much bigger.. i really miss those days

Hey everyone, glad to see this is up and running again. I'm still in Houston, enjoying the last of the warm weather. I am getting married in January in Austin and then we're off to Hawaii for a week, so I'm looking forward to all that! I also got a job at a new firm recently doing trademark work for Coca-Cola, which is fun and different.

Grant, congratulations on the baby on the way...that is so exciting.

Hope everyone is doing well. Let's keep up this forum! I'm a bit behind the times and still haven't worked out the MySpace thing...someday.

First off, Chris thank you for getting this dialed. It’s amazing to see all the names floating around on here, looking forward to some good times at Kirkwood this winter. It’s insane to think we snowboard at the same spot and didn’t know. Yelda, thank you for bringing this forum to my attention. To the rest of you, Hello! Been awhile eh? Justin Snakenberg checking in. I am living in Pismo Beach, Cali, on the central coast just north of Santa Barbara. We all had my dad for a PE teacher. He is still there doing his thing in Dhahran. Dillon and Buffy Fritz are my step bros and sis now. They’re all in Florida too. Buffy just got married this summer. Saw Allie H. and Chris at the wedding! It was great to have some drinks with them. Happy Holidays to everyone, hope you all are doing well. Bishouty wax your skis, it’s time to ride!

Uhmm, so really, what's up guys.
2006 has come and gone without a reunion.
I got off myspace so I have no idea what anyone is up to except for the brief updates on here.
Feel free to divulge.
